About WOW Prints
Canvas printing is what we do:
We are specialists in canvas printing. Our prints have been described as "sheer genius", "brilliant" and "absolutely awesome"!! Every component of our printing is completed "in-house". Our staff enhance your photo's using the latest Photoshop software, print the images onto the canvas, construct the timber stretcher bars, spray laminate, stretch and finish the canvases - without outsourcing any part of the process. This allows us to provide very strict quality control of all facets of the production. It also enables us to keep our prices to a minimum and maintain fast turnaround times for you.
Our Canvas:
We choose to use Chromata White Canvas. This museum-grade poly cotton blend has pronounced color that will truly blow your mind. Utilizing the flagship "Chromata White" breakthrough technology, this fine art canvas is bright white yet completely free of Optical Brightener Additives meaning it won't "yellow" with time.
Chromata White Canvas is a textured 20.5 mil Bright White, consistent Poly Cotton Blend Matte Canvas using an acid-free, neutral pH coating. Unlike 99.9% of available inkjet canvas products on the market today (for giclee printing), this canvas utilizes "Chromata White" optical brightener additive-free and Fluorescent Whitening agent-free breakthrough technology.
Chromata White™ Canvas is the most archival canvas available. In addition, its breakthrough technology results in a canvas that is whiter than traditional canvas manufactured with OBA's. Chromata White™ Canvas also utilizes an advanced inkjet canvas coating technology.
Our Inks:
Genuine Canon inks produce bright vibrant colours that leap from the canvas. This ink, used to print your memories, has been independently rated to last more than a lifetime without fade ensuring your colours will remain stunning for years to come.
Our Timber Framing:
We use quality Premium Timbers, milled exclusively for us. Our timber offers better resistance to twisting, warping and other defects. We also bevel and “profile” our timber, ensuring no framing lines will become noticeable either now or in years to come. We have two framings sizes available: 19mm, generally used for smaller prints or 30mm - for the bold gallery look.
Our Finishing:
All of our canvases double liquid laminated to ensure the maximum life and lustre of your print. The laminate seals the canvas, protecting from dust and scratches and allows for damp cloth cleaning. To complete the picture the canvas is carefully trimmed, finished with acid-free framing tape and pre-hung ready to display. This finishing is second to none.
